Easy Pizza Puff Pastry Twists Breadsticks

Easy Pizza Puff Pastry Twists Breadsticks

Pizza puff pastry twists breadsticks is a delicious finger food, ideal for a birthday party.

You can also serve them as an appetizer and to accompany your drink. It is a very easy recipe and you will need few ingredients to obtain a fanciful snack.

It’s a truly original appetizer, enriched with a tasty filling of tomato, parmesan, and oregano.

They are prepared in a short time and, especially in advance, which makes them perfect for the Christmas and New Year’s appetizer buffet, along with other appetizers and finger food.

You can eat them alone, together with a nice glass of Italian sparkling white wine.

The recipe for this easyappetizer is very versatile: you can fill them with different fillings, depending on your tastes and what the pantry offers you, and they will always be delicious.

I made them with a pizza flavor, using tomato sauce, parmesan, and oregano.

They can be stuffed in many other ways using pates, creams, spreadable cheeses, and various cold cuts such as raw ham, speck, salami, or mortadella.

They are also excellent with basil and parmesan pesto, smoked salmon, and spreadable cheese.

In short, the variations to the theme are many, all that remains is to indulge the imagination.

And now you have to choose your favorite taste and run immediately into the kitchen to prepare them!

Unwrap the pastry, and spread the tomato sauce in half the pastry.

Add a little bit of salt, oregano, and grated parmesan.

Fold the pastry into two.

With a knife cut the pastry into strips of about 2 cm (0.7 Inches).

Brush the surface of the stripes with the egg.

Take each strip and twist it a little bit to obtain a nice shape.

Cook in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180 C (356 °F).

Enjoy! Buon appetito!
