Chocolate Christmas Tree: many variations

You can really let your imagination run wild by replacing dark chocolate with milk or white chocolate; Or you can add some food coloring and make your own green saplings. You can also add decorations. All you need to do is melt the chocolate (always in a bain-marie), and with a small brush put it on the spot where you want to add your decorations, it will act as glue for them. For example, I often add stars, colored or silver sprinkles.

I love the Christmas period and also think of many easy, quick and scenographic recipes that can embellish our tables, amaze our guests without too much stress. If you think like me, here are some ideas for you:

You will need to form 6 cones with the parchment paper.

Take some parchment paper and cut 3 circles 20 cm (7,8 inches) of diameter (I use a small plate).

Now, cut each circle in half and form a cone with each half of circle. Close them with the help of a stapler.

Chop the chocolate and melt in bain-marie.

Once the chocolate is melted,  turn off the heat and add the puffed rice, and mix.

With the help of a spoon, put the inside the cones the compost obtained.

Remember to level them because once ready you will need to upside them down and they would need to stand up.

Leave them until the chocolate will become tough again (you can let them cool at room temperature or in a refrigerator).

Then remove the parchment paper.

You will have six Christmas trees.

Sparkle with icing sugar and your dessert is ready.

Enjoy! Buon appetito e Buon Natale!
