How to make a Nutella pastry Christmas Tree

How to make a Nutella pastry Christmas Tree

To fully enjoy the Christmas atmosphere, there is nothing better than a beautiful homemade Nutella pastry Christmas Tree. A scenographic and very easy-to-make sweet that is prepared with ready-made puff pastry.

A very easy and quick Christmas dessert

There are many puff pastry desserts designed for the Christmas holidays; this is among the simplest and fastest. To make it, just spread Nutella on a sheet of pastry, form a roll, and cut it into slices. Then the puff pastry and Nutella rolls are placed in order to form the shape of a small tree and finally cooked in the oven.

How to customize the Nutella pastry Christmas Tree

We can choose the flavor we prefer. Filling the puff pastry with Nutella and similar spreadable creams is very easy: we could also use the pistachio spreadable cream and chopped pistachios or hazelnuts, or the one we like best among the homemade, artisanal jams and marmalades or from the supermarket, with the addition of a little brown sugar or granulated sugar to complete our little work of art!

If you want our Nutella pastry Christmas Tree to be more colorful, you can garnish it with colored chocolate dragees, just like I did.

Some ideas for variations

Once we garnish a roll of puff pastry with Nutella, we can make so many desserts that we are spoiled for choice: Nutella puff pastry muffins, sweet swivels, and so on and so forth.

For the holidays, do we want a perfect table? There are so many Christmas trees and garlands to taste that we can combine them with our Nutella pastry Christmas Tree, a thousand recipes for Christmas appetizers like Christmas Trees Puff Pastry, Puff Pastry Christmas Tree with salami, we just have to free our imagination!
